Excellent Controller!Sep 14, 2009 The Logitech ChillStream Gamepad for PC is a very excellent gamepad controller. It is designed to look, and function, like an X-Box or X-Box 360 controller for one's PC. It also features two (2) fans in each hand grip to help with the sweat palm issue one incurs while playing video games for hours on end. There are two (2) speeds for these fans, which is nice.
Good controler but...Sep 13, 2009 Dont leave it plugged in! I bought 2 and left one
plugged in my spare computer, the fan motor ran for a
while and now the fan makes noise like the blades are out
of ballance, a funny "BURR" sound. All in all a realy nice
product from Logitech, albeit is made for child size hands.
Great for the priceAug 15, 2009 Pros: Fan, layout like the Xbox 360 controller, price, easy install (especially on Vista), fan has an automatic shutoff feature to prevent fan from burning out.
Cons: Center Logitech button is useless (unless you have a "Games For Windows Vista" game), takes some breaking in, no rumble (not really a problem is you use it for games that don't use rumble, like me).
Conclusion: Although buying and expensive controller would probably be nicer, this controller is great for the price. At first the fan seems like a lame edition, but once you use it, it is perfect. The controller takes some breaking in and the buttons are touchy at first, but once you begin to get used to it, the controller works like a charm.

Works great... if you don't want LT and RTAug 11, 2009 So I purchased this controller to replace my old Logitech Dual Action thinking okay its a nice upgrade and the fans will be a nice touch. I was wrong, I'm still using the Logitech Dual Action for the simple reason of I need to be able to use the RT and LT. Those two are only recognized as a Z-Axis control, and its impossible to program them to anything else. Really was a waste. I now have this controller collecting dust, because it will never get used. No point in returning since, by all rights, its not defective. It just doesn't work as I expected it to. My opinion if you don't want a headache DO NOT buy this controller. Get the Playstation style since the R2 and L2 buttons work perfectly on them.
Great buy!Jul 29, 2009 I was skeptical at first when I bought this. Let's face it the fan is just a bonus but I didn't want it to ruin the controller it self. But both the fan and controller are great! the fan gives a nice cool flow of air and the controller itself works great. The buttons themselves are good. One of the buttons did get stuck temporarily when I was bashing it a lot (and i mean a LOT). But it was easily remedied when I just pressed it slow and nudged it. I recommend this product highly because it does the job it is supposed to and gives you a little more (the fan) for free!
