Just a normal laptop mouse, definitely not a mini-mouseNov 11, 2009 Very disappointed with this mouse as it's just a standard laptop mouse and not a mini-mouse at all. I already own two Microsoft laptop mice and this Logitech is simply the same type/size item by a different manufacturer.
Great Little Mouse:)Aug 23, 2009 This mouse is a great (smaller) size and so easy to use on the laptop.
The Dell laptop recognized it right away and XP installed it with no argument.
It is nice to have available when I need a cordless mouse in a hurry!!
I would get another for my PC, when I need to replace it.
Very nice product and one that I would buy again!!
Excellent budget optical wireless mouseJul 20, 2009 Though this is not as comfortable as the Logitech V220 model (or higher), this is a good mouse. Unlike the V220 (and higher) series mice, this one lacks a 'rubberized' and contoured feel that may appeal to people who would use a mouse for extended periods or require a more tactile feedback and weight of the mouse. Additionally, the USB transmitter is quite large, about the size of a wide USB flash drive, and may be inconvenient as it may block closely-spaced USB ports on a laptop. As it is, though, this mouse is highly sensitive and of good quality and tracks as well as any mouse I have ever owned. If the size of the USB transmitter and the tactile-feel of the mouse is not an issue, this is a good budget alternative to the higher-end Logitech wireless mice.
I'm a big aficionado of "quiet" mice. The scroll-wheel is nearly silent, which is nice. The buttons are a bit loud and clacky - a feature which could be improved with any computer mouse, in my opinion.
This mouse is seamlessly Macintosh compatible, as long as you download and install the Logitech Control Center. From there, you can customize the mouse settings to your liking. The Logitech 'left and right' scrolling is ingenious, and is a much better design than the Apple Mighty Mouse. It is much easier to use and learn, and having the 2-button design of the Logitech Mini Optical Mouse is certainly and advantage over the Apple Mighty Mouse.
Great mouse for more for home useJul 12, 2009 I bought this mouse about a year ago and i love it. It's wireless and doesn't use that pesky ball to move around but instead uses a laser to move. I have just lost my receiver for this mouse and i am planning on buying the same mouse because of its size and how smoothly it moves across the surface. With a mouse that uses a ball, it tends to get stuck on the mouse pad and can interrupt your flow of working or PC gaming.
The only down side to this mouse it the receiver. It can be very easy to lose and it's expensive to replace, almost as much as buying both the mouse and receiver all over again. It it not recommended for traveling because when traveling you can forget to reattach the receiver to the mouse. You may also lose it if the receiver falls out if you are constantly moving the laptop.
Overall this is a great mouse but you have to be careful of the receiver getting lost.
Good & reliableApr 08, 2009 I bought this mouse for my laptop that I use at school. Its been reliable so far. Feels good. My only complaint is its a little loud when clicking so it can be a bit of a distraction in class.
