Decent for it's priceOct 26, 2009 I've had this headset for little over 1 1/2 years. It's been thrown around, dropped, wire pulled on, and it still holds up nicely. If you're a gamer stay away from "behind the ear" headsets. This headset will hurt your ears after 30 minutes of use. The length of the cable is long. The foam piece for the microphone ripped after 1 year of use. Foam cover for the earpiece is good as new after 1 1/2 years. In conclusion, Great quality for the price. Good for moderate users, not gamers.
Great buy...Oct 22, 2009 Love this headset!!! If only they made one this good for my XBox... This has a great design and build quality to it, I had my friend listen to me speak and he said that I sounded very clear, the audio coming through is top notch. The only complaint was that after wearing it for over an hour it does tend to hurt behind the ears a little, but I could see this getting better through increased wear MAYBE...
You get what you pay forOct 19, 2009 I used this headset daily over a several month period away from home. Movies, music, gaming, web chat with the family, I did it all. Before I returned home I happily gave this headset away, not because I'm a nice guy but beacuse I didn't want to wear them ever again.
The headset was returned to me the next day.
The sound and microphone quality is good, that's not the problem. They're uncomfortable. I couldn't get through a standard length movie without getting sore spots on the tops of my ears and the side of my head above my ears. I tried bending the headset wider (though I don't think my head is abnormally large); I'd reposition the headset to give relief to the pressure points on the side of my head. I'd keep my Skype calls short just to avoid wearing the headset.
Do you get my point yet? These are uncomfortable. Don't buy them, find something else. I'm now using a Logitech Gaming Headset G330 (Black) and love it - long gaming sessions, calls, and movies are no longer a problem, though it's in a higher price range than this set.
Keep searching - this isn't the headset you're looking for.
Eh.Aug 29, 2009 If you wear it for a long time, your ears hurt. The sound quality is acceptable, if not, great. The mic volume can be low sometimes, as my friends had to ask me to speak up multiple times.
The volume changer that is in the middle of the cord is very handy.
Perfect product for the moneyAug 17, 2009 After fine tuning the mic boost and the headphone level, this thing worked like a charm. no deep bass for gaming but who cares when your on a budget. people heard me fine and i didn't get any response of background noise, considering there is almost a tv on behind me! great product, great price, logitech is were its at.
