Very PleasedNov 15, 2009 I love this mouse, it works so well and I would recommend it to anyone.
.Track BallNov 08, 2009 This is the best track ball that I have ever found as far as ergonomics are concerned

Love it Love it Love itOct 10, 2009 This is the best mouse. It stays in one place, you don't have to move the mouse all around to get to areas on the screen, just use the marble and you can go anywhere on the screen. It is especially great for limited space use. My laptop is in a small corner area and I was having a really hard time using my traditional mouse. This trackball has made my computer use a real breeze.

Zero technical supportSep 29, 2009 I have had the mouse for a little over a month and am thoroughly disappointed in the product, but, much more so with the lack of technical support or customer service.
The pointer sticks when the sensors that the ball activates don't recognize the ball's movement. The ball must be picked up and dropped to get the sensors attention, easy enough to do, but not the way the designer had in mind.
I searched online, on the forum and on Logitech's web page for a solution, there was none. 2 emails to customer service received no reply. It wasn't until after I filled out a customer service survey that I finally got their attention.
While I explained the technical problem in my emails, the customer service reps were only concerned with warranty information, their solution, after 4 emails was to send it back and get another one. I purchased the Marble in the US and am now in Thailand, they do not have an international warrantee so I was asked to send it back to them and have the replacement sent to a friend in the US who could then mail it to me.
The mailing costs would exceed the price of the unit.
I believe the product is a good one and I just received a faulty example.
Lack of technical support and poor customer service are the two of the real problems here, the third might just be lack of quality control.
Logitech might consider moving away from the disposable world mentality and work on delivering a working product to begin with.

Not reliable hardwareSep 28, 2009 I've owned two of these and both have failed in the same way. While they work, they work very well, but in each case, starting at about the 6 month mark and getting progressively worse from then on, they become erratic. Clicks don't register, sometimes "ghost" clicks show up - it feels like I'm using a "sticky" mouse, which can't be the case, as I was quite careful to clean out the dust from inside the trackball socket on a regular basis. Both times it eventually got to the point where the device simply was not usable for ordinary Windows usage. The first time, I got a second one. The second time, I replaced it with my old mouse.
I would very much like to have kept using this - I like the trackball a lot, it's much more natural, and less repetitive movement stress than with a mouse - but having the same type of hardware fail the same way twice in a row is no good.
Going to see if I can find other trackballs from other manufacturers.
