Great sound, if you hook it up right. Can squash bigger headsOct 26, 2009 I got this because I frequently do calls with clients via Skype in my office, and though Macs do have good ambient noise reduction, they still pick up the human voice really well. Since I can't expect people to be dead quiet for long calls, I looked for a good quality, comfortable, clear sounding headset.
These were recommended to me, and they didn't disappoint. After I read the instructions. If you have a mac, do not plug the individual plugs into headphone/microphone! The sound is quiet and of poor quality. As the instructions say, use the included USB adapter, and the sound is awesome.
Two things though: At least on my OSX Snow Leopard using Mac, it forgets that you've set the Sound preferences to use this, and sometimes will play sound via the speakers still. Just quickly check before calls that it's got the right input and output settings.
The other thing is that they, at least for me, are not for wearing all day long. I've got a big head and they start to get pressing on it after about 30-45 minutes. But not unbearably so.

Overall, clean, good quality sound, and a nice solid case to carry them in.

Poor sound qualityOct 16, 2009 If you have ever heard audio from a quality device, you learn immediately that this has cheap audio quality. I bought one of these assuming it would be great. A waste of money at the end! Also, when I wear this, it creates a pain in the upper ears (where the frame of device rests).
I own 4 sets!Sep 18, 2009 Great product, I wouldn't by anything else. I use these on my Desktop as well as my notebooks.
good headsetAug 10, 2009 confortable, compatible and portable, this is a good headset.. the only thing I found not good for me is that the Mic does not has a noise cancel treat, so if you try to speak on a louded place the persone in the other side will recive all the noise...
Excellent for VoIP phone callsJul 29, 2009 I've had this headset for a few years now and love it. I work mostly from my MacBook Pro, at home and in co-working spaces and coffee shops, and I do a few hours a day worth of conference calls over VoIP. This thing fits great in its case, which in turn fits great into a pocket of my backpack. Sound quality is perfect, and I've never gotten complaints about noise over the mic.
There's an in-line mute switch and volume control, both of which help in noisy coffee shops when someone orders a cappucino - mute for the people on the other end and volume for me.
I've seen other reviews with complaints about comfort, but I've got no such complaint. The earphones are on slides and pivots, which let me settle them nicely on my ears, and the plastic bar behind them doesn't pinch my ears. The foam on the phones is still in perfect condition, so I'm not sure how others have had theirs fall apart. I wear things things for 8-12 hours at a time.
One con might be that the headset seems not to work well when plugged directly into the Mac - but it comes with a USB dongle that's recognized fine by the system.
