5Solid product, good valueOct 13, 2008
Bought this product used from a seller through Amazon. It comes with a nice little pouch to store the mouse in. Once I paired the mouse with my MacBook, the mouse is recognized within seconds of turning it on. It has great energy management, as I use this mouse at work all day and it has been running on 2 AA batteries for weeks now. It feels great, good ergonomics, and feels solid and not cheap. I have zero complaints about it.

2software buggy, crashes XPJul 02, 2008
My wife experienced months of intermittent blue screen crashes after installing the mouse's accompanying Logitech SetPoint version 4.24 software on a Lenovo T60 laptop running Windows XP SP3. I kept the machine fully updated via ThinkVantage and Windows Update; swept for spyware, defragged, etc., but sporadic crashes continued, for example, when coming out of Standby. She was able to tolerate this until XP began crashing with blue screens every 21 minutes! The fix was to deinstall SetPoint, and to revert to a wired mouse. No more crashes. Outside of the deal-breaker Logitech software, we liked the mouse; ergonomics, tracking, and battery life were fine. If you search the online support forums, you'll find many other users complaining of serious problems using SetPoint, and an apparent lack of responsiveness from Logitech.

2I like the VX-Nano & LX7 betterJun 06, 2008
I bought this as I thought I had Bluetooth on my primary notebook, then later confirmed it did not. So I went ahead and bought the Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks - the one with the ultra tiny receiver. I love the Nano, it's great and I can program the extra buttons for my game. Anyway, I finally got around to buying a Bluetooth adapter for another notebook and tried out the V270 mouse. I didn't like the feel nor the response - and this was for regular usage not for gaming. So I put the old cordless Microsoft one back on that notebook.

I don't know if I will ever use this V270 mouse - maybe for a very short time as a backup for if and when one of the other two ones I use break. Think I will stick to the VX-Nano next time I buy a mouse, hopefully they will make a Bluetooth edition of that. Another good cordless mouse is the Logitech LX7 Cordless Optical Mouse- Dark Silver. I use that one at work all day long. The LX7 has programmable buttons, which I use in my browser and other programs. I think Logitech would be better off offering Bluetooth versions of their other 'real' mice than this one.

Rated 2 stars for feel, response, and the fact that Logitech has better mice than this model (some in the same price range).

5One of the best wireless mouseMay 24, 2008
I use this mouse for my mac book. Its great because the mac book has built-in blue tooth and you don't need to have an external dongle. It has long life battery, it has high resolution and long range. And oh, the batteries uses just common AA--easy to find. Cold Eyes

5Amazing mouse from LogitechMay 24, 2008
LOVE this little bluetooth mouse. perfect size for home or travel. back button would be cool for browsing, but otherwise perfect device. And the battery life is awesome. Logitech still makes the best mice. Microsoft has some decent ones too. This is the best wireless one i have ever owned.
